Human Safety Foundation (HSF) is a non-government, not political and non-profitable organization. The aim is to assist the vulnerable people of Bangladesh in every possible regards. A large number of people in Bangladesh detached from the mainstream society due to the social injustice.
We believe development of a country cannot be achieved keeping the impoverished and deprived community in vulnerable conditions. In this context, HSF takes different initiatives to bring the backward population of the country to the mainstream society. Human Safety Foundation has been working to assist the children to evaluate the inner potentials, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. Since 2009, the team helps children to get the health care, education, life skills, job- readiness training and confidence they need to create lasting change in their lives and communities.
From then HSF has been implementing various projects and programs to achieve its goal. The Foundation’s overall geographic focus is all over Bangladesh. The program works across six thematic sectors: Underprivileged child education, violence against women and children, climate change and vulnerability, improving the living standards of both elderly and disabled, Humanitarian, and Policy Rights Governance where UCE is in centered area.
With the support provided by own initiatives, globally cooperation, both in government and civil society organizations, we are making progress towards maximizing impact for children who are most in need of our support, to bring the backward part of the country to the mainstream society including those ethnic minority groups, street and working children, refugee children, and others; vulnerable and socially excluded.

Yes, HSF is a registered Non Government Organization (NGO) under NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The registration number is 3286.
Yes, we are registered under the Government of Bangladesh. We have worked with the government in various campaigns and they have always supported our cause to bring a sustainable change in the society.
HSF welcomes contributions from both public and private sector enterprises as well as individuals. Organizations may choose to support HSF as a whole in monetary terms or in other ways according to their own convenience – for instance through skill-sharing and training.
HSF also accepts sponsors regarding regular schooling project and various social awareness campaigns such as Universal Children’s Day, International day of Education, World Autism Awareness Day, World Humanitarian Day, World Environment Day, World Water Day, Annual Winter Cloth, EID festivals and the Annual Iftar.

Whilst HSF’s primary focus is on education, we also work on various support projects that aim to empower the women and increase employment opportunities for impoverished communities within Bangladesh. By maintaining a balance of education and skill enhancement for the children, coupled with providing a means to produce income for the family, HSF can ensure that the children are able to become fully educated.
On the other hand, being the pioneer in proving the youth a voice and a platform through its youth wing “JOYDEEP” HSF is now reallocating skills and resources to foster self-reliance and growth in every citizen.
This balance will ultimately allow for the accomplishment of the HSF goal – to break the cycle of poverty through education and rebuilding our nation.
